Family Album

" Family Album"

is this weeks theme for the

Take a Word Challenge.

I used pictures of found relatives in my digital page.

'For one moment

our lives met....our souls touched'.

If I had any photos of my great grandparents I would like to think they looked  likes these two.

Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are always welcome here.

Orange becomes her

The theme word for  this week over  at

The Three Muses Challenge

is........Orange.

This is my take on the theme a lot of orange background layers,

a colour that shouts out Autumn to me.

But as its near Halloween I couldn't resist  a connection to the darker side of the season as well.

Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are all very welcome here.

Solitude for AJJ

A digital journal page for

Art Journal Journey

and Elke's theme of.....

Landscapes of the Soul.

As I was creating this page, the house was quiet, a dull day outside,

I hadn't even turned on the radio to listen to music.

I  felt  utterly  happy being alone in my crafting world.

Thank you for stopping by, you are always very welcome here.

Digital information can be

found in my sidebar.

Candle Light

The theme this week  for the

Three Muses Challenge

is........Candle

Candle light can be quite magical,

it can cast its shadows in the room and maybe you can see things

where you wouldn't expect to see them.

Thank you for calling in, you are most welcome here.

Digital information can be

found in my sidebar.

Stripped and happy

Stripes.....

is this weeks challenge theme at Take a Word.

I had a play in the digital program I use to create a stripped background, I didn't want straight lines,

but I did want happy colours.

Its been quite dull and gloomy here these past few days,

bright colours lightened a grey  day.

Thank you for calling in, your comments are always appreciated and you are always welcome here.

Its the witching time of the year.

The Dreamers challenge theme over at

Digital Whispers
is.....Witch.

I used one of my own backgrounds and added a variety of  digital images for this page. .
The quote I added ......
'I become insane, with long intervals
of horrible sanity'.
I just wonder what these two are saying to each other and who will win the argument.
Neither if them look very sane to me.

The Printed Word

The theme  for

  The Three Muses Challenge

is.... The printed word

I will also be sharing this page with friends at

 Art Journal Journey

where Elke's theme for the month

is.......Landscapes of the Soul.

This is a digital page, layered up one one of my own backgrounds.

The printed word and books in particular mean a lot to me.

It's an escape route from what is going on around me,

when I need to unwind and relax.

I do make time each day to read, usually in the evening before bed time.

Do you enjoy reading books?

Thank you for calling in to  my digital blog, you are most welcome here.
