It did start its life as a page in my journal, but had so many layers  added to it in my digital program it is hard to say what came from where.

I do know that I really like the quote I used...

I wonder how far the little creature sitting on the mushroom will get when he tries his wings to fly.

I think many of you have happy memories of days at the beach,

we remember them as warm summer days, playing on the sand and in the water

 when in reality here in the North east of the U.K  the sea is always extremely cold.

Set yourself free

Its not often that I manage  to create a digital page that will fit two challenges ,

I started making this page for AJJ, by using this quote   of  Frida Kallo's.

It  fits how I feel about my digital work a little,  because 

 when I started it all seemed way beyond what I could do.

But,  after  a while   I can now  say,  I love creating digital art,

nearly, but not quite  as much as the hands on inky and messy projects .

We were listening to children playing  in the country school close by to where we are currently staying in the caravan. We couldn't see them but we could hear their happy voices.

The sun was shining and they sounded like they were having fun.

Is this weeks theme over at  Take a Word

Look close if you want to and not one of my clocks is  telling the same time.

Perhaps this is good as we all seem to be reliant on time, 

maybe it would help us to accept that,  'now',  is good

 and not wish for more time on our clocks..

Its a Mystery

Oh... to sort out a muddled mind and have a bit of fun.

This digital  page is for

I'm sure like me you could make up a fun scenario for this picture.

The Miss Birds were hoping to go and have some fun on the beach,

 Daisy and Maud both wondered  why their mother wanted them to wear their best dresses.

She was a bit confused herself when  showed them what they had to wear.

Jeans and a T shirt would have been their choice.

 I think their Papa had other ideas,

Dress them to impress, he told their mother  and maybe if they can behave themselves and act like 'young ladies'   we  will be able to find a suitor for them.

Two Birds

The word  for the Three Muses  Challenge

this week is--  'Two'.

 Maybe not on s snowy days but we do sometimes hear the birds sing in winter, Do You?

There are alot of challenge themes this week that this page will fit.

Quite by accident and not intentional .

I used  one of my own embossed pages as a base layer.

Added a woodland photograph, some of my own  Dezinaworld and Mischief circus images.

If you visit from Art Journal journey, this is a newish blog I have begun,  to  experiment with digi pages., just  need  time to try more. I  am hoping to be here at least once a week.
