This weeks challenge at Take a Word
is Rose/Roses.
This is my digital take on the theme, with a grungy, multi layered background and a single rose.
Credits etc can be found in my side bar.
I have also managed to make this one last page. that also fits Gill's theme of Elegance and Grunge
over at Art Journal Journey . It was a super challenge Gill.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving the blue rose! Nice grunge background too!
ReplyDeleteYou know many years ago we went to Quebec and my husband bought me a blue rose. When we were coming back to the US through customs, we were asked whether we had any fruits, veggies or plants. I forgot about the rose, which was sitting on top of our luggage in the back seat. I think the customs agents must have thought it was fake, because they had to have seen it. Or maybe they didn't. But blue roses always make me think of this. Gorgeous page Yvonne. And thanks for the blue rose memory. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful Yvonne. There is something about a blue rose that always stops me in my tracks.
